Kathmandu , the capital city of Nepal, is one of the world's oldest cities. Kathmandu city is the old part of the city, with narrow medieval streets and lovely little shrines, centers around the Durbar Square. Kathmandu have find distinctive pagoda-roofed temples, stone sculptures, old monsters and histories monuments. Kathmandu city is a popular of man made architectures it's belongs to the oldest creative. The Kathmandu city have a lot of famous and most interesting of the ancient Hanuman Dhoka Palace complex in the middle of the old city. Hanuman Dhoka built during the malla eriod, Kathmandu's Durbar Square contains many of the finest temples, sculptures and monuments in the valley.


The main attraction of Hanuman dhoka entrance to is an image of Hindu god depicted in the form of a monkey. The mallas placed this image of bring them victory in war.The idol is always clothed in red and is further honoured by the golden umbrella placed over its head.Golden Door is the main door of the Hanuman Dhoka Place.It's guarded by a pair of stone lions.Shiva sits on the lion to the right, while Shakti sits on the lioness to the left. Such an extravagance at that particular period of Nepal's history must surely have a story to explain it and indeed the story is found there in the inscriptin.
